Fine Instruments
Once you have purchased a fine instrument or bow from Austin’s Violin Shop, you are entitled to one year of free maintenance. This maintenance includes cleaning and polishing, adjustments to bridge, pegs, soundpost, repair of open seams, endpin adjustment, or screw replacement for bows.
Please adopt the habit of bringing in your instrument and bow for annual maintenance. This policy will protect the sound and beauty of your equipment, as well as your financial investment in those pieces. Of course, bring us your instrument or bow whenever you feel adjustments or repairs are needed. Our experienced luthiers are on staff weekly.
You will also receive from Austin’s the appropriate paperwork needed by your insurance provider for coverage on your purchase. Austin’s strongly recommends you insure your instrument, bow and case with a rider on your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy.
