HUSBAND AND WIFE, DANA AND PATRICIA AUSTIN, OPENED THE SHOP 40 YEARS AGO.

Dana studied under Tschu Ho Lee at the Chicago School of Violin Making, while Patti taught the Suzuki Method. Over these past 40 years, an extensive inventory has been acquired from private and worldwide venues. We have worked towards building long-term relationships with dozens of schools and orchestras throughout the Chicagoland area.

Though we’ve grown over the years, we’ve retained our small business service and flexibility. Our pride is the relationships we’ve developed with our customers over the years.

I have worked with Austin’s Violin Shop for over 20 years. They continue to provide my studio with wonderful service and excellent workmanship. Instruments available both for rent and purchase are of the highest quality.
